Towy Youth Actors was founded in Feb. 2008 by parents who wanted to give our youngsters a chance to develop confidence, acting, singing and dancing skills and have a great time doing so. It is run on an entirely voluntary, not-for- profit basis by adults including a professional actor, singing coaches, a theatre professional, marketing experts, web designers and dance teachers – plus a host of technicians, administrators, prop makers and musicians. More than 35 young people aged 8 and 13 turn out every Sunday and put their all into putting on fantastic productions such as Bugsy Malone. Children come from all schools in our area, maintained and independent, providing a unique opportunity for them to get to know one another and have fun.
